YouTuber Lilly Singh pays a tribute to dancing diva Madhuri Dixit on her birthday, recreates her iconic ‘80s and ‘90s hits

YouTuber turned late-night talk show hostis a die-hard fan offilms.The comedian took toon Friday and paid a heartfelt tribute to Bollywood’s,, on her 53rd birthday.

In the video, Lilly can be seen sporting quirky outfits and shaking a leg to some of Madhuri’s iconic ‘80s and ‘90s hits such as ‘Tamma Tamma’, ‘Dhak Dhak’, ‘Dolare Dola’ and others.

Along with the video, Lilly also wrote a nostalgic post for the legendary dancer and called Dixit her ‘very first idol’. “From a young age until now, you continue to inspire me and blow me away with your talent. 100% of my photos from childhood are me posing as you,’ wrote Lilly.

Lilly also reflected back on the time when she got to do a video with Dixit and said that she still feels nervous when she thinks about it. “Thank you for showing me that no matter how old we get, we can still dance wildly, live passionately and practice our art. You are incredible,” added Lilly.

Dixit was last seen in the Bollywood movie ‘Kalank’ while Lilly Singh was seen on her late-night talk show ‘A Little Late With Lilly Singh’.
